Hotel Reservations Deadline:  February 15, 2008

Two hotels are available for conference participants.  Room rates are fixed regardless of occupancy, so bring your colleagues along! Holiday Inn at the University of Memphis (main conference hotel) All rooms $119/night.  Each is a suite with 1-2 queen size beds plus a sofa bed. 3700 Central Avenue Memphis, TN 38111 Tel 901-678-8200 (1-888-HOLIDAY) Fax 901-678-0536 Fogelman Executive Conference Center (across the street) All rooms $85/night.  Each has one queen size bed. 330 Innovation Drive Memphis, TN 38152 Tel 901-678-5410 Fax 901-678-5329 Please be sure to make your hotel reservations by February 15.  After this date any unreserved rooms will be released to the general public.  Also, please ask for group "Literacy Powerline" when booking your room.  If you don't give the group name, you could be told that the hotel is full when in fact reserved rooms are available! Check in is after 3pm and check out is until noon.  A free airport shuttle runs from 7am to 10pm, and requires 48 hours advance notice.
